Light in the Darkness

Praying for our brothers and sisters

Saturday, July 12th at 12pm

Dear Family,

Over the last several weeks we all have been inundated with news about the conflict in Israel and Palestine where lives have been lost, security threatened, and fear increased. As followers of our Lord Jesus Christ, I ask that we unite in prayer for the Lord's kingdom to come and will be done. Most of us have varying opinions about this situation but one thing is certain, this war is between God and Satan and we the Body of Christ must put down our swords of accusation and judgement and raise the sword of His Spirit instead. We must join the heart of Jesus as He prayed that the world would know Him by the love we have for one another. We must shine in the midst of darkness and today we pray for our brothers and sisters who carry the torch for Jesus daily in this war torn nation. If you have chosen to label one side or the other as good or evil, then I ask you to seek the heart of Jesus for the repentance and salvation of the inhabitants caught in this war. Pray their hearts to be healed and their identity secured as a Citizen of Heaven.  Please pray the Lord would raise up Godly counsel for both Israeli and Palestinian leaders.
